Description of Grenville

This stone built detached holiday cottage is set in a private and very quiet courtyard, in the rural village of Yealmpton. Set in the South Hams, about 7 miles east of Plymouth, the village is famous for the nursery rhyme ’Old Mother Hubbard’, and the original cottage is still standing proudly in the village, now a restaurant. Close to many sandy beaches such as Mothecombe which lies at the Mouth of the Erme facing Wonwell beach. Two pubs and restaurant in village. Shop 1/4 mile.

Ground floor: Living room with beams and wooden floor/dining room. Kitchen with beams. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin, 1 bunk. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Open fire in living room (initial fuel inc). Oil CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Cot. H/chair. DVD. CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. F/freezer. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. BBQ. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. Friday to Friday. NB: There are 5 steps from garden to sitting-out area.
