The 200 year old village pub is built on the site which was once the blacksmith’s shop, and serves good food. The village is famous for the meteorite which crashed to earth close by in 1775.
Convenient for the coast, the traditional resorts of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough are all close by and boast miles of sandy beaches. Walk in the rolling hills of the Wolds or take in the dramatic scenery of the North York Moors aboard the Steam Train from Pickering to Whitby.
