Due to its elevated position visitors experience an atmosphere of quiet tranquillity that contrasts the liveliness of the town itself. From the property there are stunning hill and coastal walks along the Mawddach Estuary. Nearby enjoy pubs, restaurants, water sports, fishing, castles and highland railways. Aberystwyth, the liveliest seaside resort in Wales, is within easy driving distance and offers plenty of cultural and entertainment activities and Edwardian and Victorian attractions. The National Library of Wales can be found here, as well as the Aberystwyth Arts Centre and several museums.
