Description of Glyn House

This well-presented, detached, holiday home was built for the manager of the Gwydir Estate, and commands far reaching views out over the surrounding hills and mountains. It has a multi-fuel burner in the living room and an open fire in the dining room - great for winter evenings, and a conservatory opening off the kitchen - ideal for the summer months. The delightful garden also provides a pleasant place in which to relax with a glass of wine. This lovely property is just three miles from the bustling village of Betws-y-Coed - the gateway to Snowdonia, with its shops, Conwy Valley Railway Museum, forest walks and the Tree Top Adventure high ropes course. The village also offers many outdoor activities and lies within the Gwydyr Forest. In the other direction, Snowdon is a short but beautiful drive away, as are the villages of Llanberis, home to the Snowdon Mountain Railway and Beddgelert, with its pretty tea rooms and Welsh Highland Railway to Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Shops 3 miles, pub 1 mile.
