Description of Les Paturelles
This charming house is set in a village location, midway between Luçon and La Rochelle, making it ideal for exploring both the Vendée coast and the Charente-Maritime. It provides comfortable accommodation and benefits from use of the owners’ large garden. The glorious Vendée beaches are easily accessible, as is the famous old town of La Rochelle, with its excellent restaurants, street cafés and fabulous aquarium. For a memorable day trip, visit the canals of ‘Green Venice’, where a leisurely day can be spent punting along the river, or why not take a boat trip across to the beautiful island of Ré, with its excellent cycling terrain. Alternatively, the history theme park of Le Puy de Fou, with its medieval village and falconry displays, makes for a great family day out.
