Woodfield Manor is part of a Grade ll listed building, tucked away in a quiet exclusive part of Torquay in the heart of the English Riviera, within a 5 minute walk of the harbour and town. Once the home of Edward Vivian, a banker, scientist and benefactor of the poor. Woodfield was built for him and his family in the early 1840s. The building is steeped in history being part of the Torbay Civic Societies Blue Plaque Scheme. This very spacious property retains many original features including high ceilings, large rooms, stained glass windows and bay windows with distant views over the harbour. Now the house has been converted into apartments and updated to reflect today’s lifestyles. Torquay and the area offer days out, especially for a family holiday or friends who want to holiday together. Living Coasts Zoo is within walking distance where penguins wander freely.
