With the old wool town of Lavenham with its spectacular guildhall and the medieval houses, Long Melford famous for Long Melford and Kentwell Halls and antique shops all within 20 minute drive. The historic old market town of Bury St. Edmunds for the abbey ruins, museums, theatre, sports and swimming facilities only 7 miles. Sudbury, Stowmarket and Diss are within easy reach as is Newmarket for the races, whilst peaceful Flatford and Dedham - much associated with the painter Constable - lie close by. Each cottage overlooks a pretty enclosed courtyard with furniture and barbecue area ideal for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine on a balmy summers evening.
