Description of Wheeldon Farm Adventure Cottages - Poppy

If you are looking for adventure and adrenalin, then Wheeldon Farm Adventure Cottages, nestled within the South Hams, is the ultimate holiday cottage destination. Set within 240 acres of unspoilt farmland, including miles of footpaths and green lanes, ideal for walking, cycling or 4x4 driving, guests can enjoy a range of on-site facilities suitable for all the family, including a heated indoor swimming pool. It is also just a short distance from some of South Devon’s finest beaches and tourist attractions.
The Wheeldon Off-Road Centre, adjacent to Adventure Cottages, boasts a purpose-built, 30,000 square foot indoor arena and junior training circuit, and is the ideal year-round venue for the whole family to learn to ride a motorcycle in a fun, safe and controlled environment. All children staying on holiday in one of the three cottages at Wheeldon Farm (refs 27214, 27215, 27216) are given a free private full taster bike session in the highly acclaimed Junior Academy, providing children with the opportunity to experience the ultimate two-wheel off-road adventure for the first time. The instructors at Wheeldon Farm are all ACU accredited and will guide the children through their paces every step of the way. All the kit, clothing, boots, gloves, helmets and bikes are provided. All that’s needed is the enthusiasm to have a great deal of fun! Suited to all ages from 5 years to fit seniors. Children’s taster sessions are free of charge, with adult and subsequent children’s riding available to those staying in the cottages at a preferential rate.
In addition to all the motorbike fun, a range of other activities can also be organised locally, including horse riding, golf, go-karting and trout and carp fishing. Home-made meals can be pre-ordered and delivered to the cottages. Please note, extra activities and catering requests must be
pre-booked with Wheeldon Farm Adventure Cottages prior to guests’ arrival at the site.
