West Lodge is a modern, detached holiday property in a quiet cul-de-sac just a 1-mile walk from the beach on the South Devon coastline in sheltered Torbay. It is conveniently situated for a family holiday in Paignton, part of the English Riviera and an excellent base for exploring the many treasures of both Devon and Cornwall. The property has been renovated, decorated and furnished to a very good standard, offering comfortable accommodation and enjoying sea views from most rooms with the master bedroom having stunning sea views across the bay to Torquay. Along the 22 miles of English Riviera coastline are 20 beaches, some close to the town centre. Visitor attractions include Dartmoor, Paignton Zoo, Dart Valley and South Devon Steam Railways, boat trips on the River Dart, Babbacombe Model Village, Kents Cavern and Cockington village. There are many NT properties and historic houses locally including Coleton Fishacre, Compton Castle, Bradley Manor, Torre Abbey Mansions and Gardens and Greenway House, Agatha Christie’s holiday home, which has an old-fashioned bus to take you there. For children, visit Crealy Great Adventure Park, Exeter, Woodlands Family Theme Park in Dartmouth and Haldon Forest, Exeter, where you can horse ride, cycle, walk or Go Ape and zip wire through the trees. For adult shopping and rides for children, visit Trago Family Shopping and Leisure Park near Newton Abbot. There are many local marine activities, ice cream kiosks, shops etc. Nearest shops, bars and restaurants 800 yards.
