Description of Torside Cottage
Torside Cottage is a delightful 300 year old, stone semi-detached holiday cottage adjoining the owners’ home and nestling in a very quiet hamlet just out of the village of Mary Tavy right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
Set in a very peaceful rural location, with a sunny south facing front garden and patio area. Just a 15 minute walk on to the moorland, and a short walk to the local village pub. Mary Tavy is located just outside of the historic market town of Tavistock, which is well known for its weekly farmers’ markets and antiques and collectables market.
There is a wide range of shops in the town, many good pubs and resturants and also a swimming pool, cinema and live music venue. Nearby there is horse riding and golf availble on the open moorland.
