This charming 18th century Grade ll listed holiday cottage is a stone building forming part of a school founded by Lady Modyford in 1702. It is situated in the centre of the quiet little village of Buckland Monachorum on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, in the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The city of Plymouth and the ancient stannary town of Tavistock are both just a short drive, and the property is conveniently located for exploring the rugged moor, perfect for walkers and the outdoor types. Local National Trust properties include Buckland Abbey, Saltram House, Castle Drogo, Cotehele House and Lydford Gorge. Shops 2 miles, pub 50 yards.
