Close to Bovisand Beach
Aptly named Beach Walk is a holiday barn conversion in a small cluster of properties, and is located just a short walk down to the well known Bovisand Beach, very popular in the summer with families. The property is modern and well equipped, with well proportioned rooms. The rear garden is completely enclosed with tall wooden fencing, making it safe for families with children. The beach here is sandy, and there are many rock pools to explore. The South West Coastal Path runs along the headland through Down Thomas and onto Wembury. From Bovisand there commands the most spectacular views out to sea, across the breakwater protecting the large bay, across to the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall and over to the Hoe area of Plymouth. There are several pubs in area, a small village shop, a small beach shop, an ice cream parlour and café on the beach. Horse riding can be arranged at Wembury, and National Trust members have free parking at Wembury Beach. Shops, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
