Swallows Rest is a barn conversion within a complex of 8, set around a courtyard in a rural setting close to the hamlet of South Allington. The South Hams and its coastline is an AONB, with stunning scenery, excellent walks and a variety of beaches, sandy coves, rugged cliffs and the South Devon coastal path. Great fishing and golf nearby. Walks along the NT paths take you to Start Point, Salcombe, Gara Rock hotel, Torcross and Slapton Sands. Within easy reach are Dartmoor, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Boat trips at Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Brixham, Paignton and Torquay offer good days out. Two bikes are available for adults. Shop, pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.
