Description of Mill Loch View

Surrounded by parkland and countryside, this spacious detached lodge with views over the loch is situated within a holiday park with bar, restaurant and shared heated indoor swimming pool. The double bedroom has an upper balcony overlooking the loch.

It is located just 800 yards from Sandyhills, one of the finest beaches along this unspoilt coast. Walkers and cyclists will find a wide range of footpaths, coastal paths and mountain bike tracks. Birdwatchers can enjoy the spectacle of geese and swans on the loch, or see birds at the coast or the nearby RSPB reserve. Opportunities for river, loch and sea fishing abound, while golfers are spoilt for choice with 16 courses within 20 miles. Sailing is available at Kippford, 5 miles. There is also a riding centre close by which provides lessons and trekking.

Locally, there are castles and historical sites to visit, and Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright are easily accessible.
