Located 2 miles from Thornhill with boutiques, pubs and eateries and 16 miles from Dumfries. The property is situated close to the A76 and can be subject to some traffic noise.
With the Southern Upland Way passing nearby it is a popular area for walkers of all abilities.
Other activities include cycling, fishing and golf with local attractions including Drumlanrig Castle and Gardens and Ellisland Farm, the farmhouse built by Robert Burns. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible for a day out.
