Nearby Oban, widely acknowledged as the ’Seafood Capital of Scotland’, is a prosperous tourist destination, fishing port and ferry terminal, with shops, bars and restaurants. Take a ferry trip to Mull, Staffa or Iona. Visit castles and gardens, Bonawe Iron Works, Cruachan Hollow Mountain, Oban Distillery, Inveraray Jail and Sea Life Centre.
