Located just 500 yards from Sandyhills, one of the finest beaches along on the spectacular Solway coast near Dumfries and close to the stunning Galloway Forest Park, is this privately owned holiday lodge, with on-site facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and horse riding. Popular with walkers and cyclists, with world class mountain biking at Dalbeattie 7 Stanes nearby. There is a golf course (1 mile). There are unspoilt villages, dramatic coastlines, sandy beaches, magnificent gardens, castles and ancient monuments to explore. Wildlife is in abundance with the RSPB nature reserve just along the coast.
Sweetheart Abbey, Drumlanrig Castle and Gardens and Mabie Farm Park are all within easy reach. Visitors can go sailing at Kipford just 5 miles, or arrange a deep sea fishing trip from Kirkcudbright which is 25 miles away, and there is good shopping to be found in Dumfries, 20 miles. Shop 2 miles.
