Description of The Granary

Village location, close to Bath

This 18th century former granary mill stands detached in the centre of the pretty and historic Somerset village of Norton St Phillip, and only 6 miles from Bath.

The most well known landmark in the village is The George Inn, one of the oldest inns in the country. This holiday cottage provides an ideal base for exploring Bath and the surrounding area. Nearby places include Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole Papermill and caves, and Stonehenge.

Bristol is also worth a visit with its fascinating maritime heritage, museums, boat trips around the harbour and zoo. Nearby gardens and historic houses include Prior Park, Dyrham Park, Stourhead and Westonbirt Arboretum.
