Description of The Hayloft

This converted hayloft, adjacent to the owner’s farmhouse in 5 acres complete with livery and chickens, makes an ideal holiday base for exploring Rye and the Rother Valley. Ideal for walking and cycling or take a ride on the Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway which chugs its way through beautiful countryside to the castle at Bodiam. Take a boat on the River Rother at Newenden or explore the antique shops, art galleries and tea rooms in Rye. Great Dixter and its gardens are worth visiting and take a trip to the coast at Camber with golden sand dunes. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Low door to bathroom with shower over bath, shower attachment and toilet. First floor: 1 double (5ft zip and link) bedroom with beamed, sloping ceiling.
