Description of Mullybrook Mill
Set in the rural Devon Heartland, this converted 16th-century watermill retains much of its charm. Laid out over three floors, the mill is skirted by a leat which drops to a waterfall down the side of the holiday property over the old water wheel, where guests can relax on a decked patio area. The workings of the mill and exposed original stone walling have been cleverly restored. All rooms have views overlooking grassy meadows. A private paddock provides perfect surroundings to enjoy a picnic or ‘kick around’. There is a multitude of bridleways and tracks for those who like walking and observing bird and animal life. Village of Chulmleigh is about 4 miles. Pub 2 miles.
