Set on the edge of a peaceful hamlet and close to the town of St. Lô, this pretty, semi-detached property has been beautifully restored by its owner. Formerly a cider ’cave’, the property still displays its traditional beams and stone walls, whilst modern comforts make this an ideal holiday home. There is a private patio area and a large garden. La Vimondiere is an ideal location to soak up the atmosphere of historic places like Ste Mère Eglise, the D-Day landing beaches or the picturesque town of Bayeux (all 20 mins). Nearby is the Marais with its wonderful bird life, walks and cycle routes, as well as the historic towns of St Lô and Coutance (20 mins). Granville and the beautiful west coast beaches are 40 mins and Mont St. Michel 1 hour. Evening meals on request.
