Named after the Bishop of Exeter, who lived in the main house during the 16th century, this converted stone barn provides light and spacious accommodation of charm and character all on one level. Beamed living/dining room with rugs on wooden floor and patio doors to garden. Cottage-style kitchen area with Belfast sink. Double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet.
Set at the edge of the picturesque village of Newton Ferrers, a haven for sailing and watersports, Parsonage Farm dates back to medieval times. The converted cottage and barn are adjacent to the main farmhouse, and each have their own garden and patio, as well as shared use of a children’s play area and meadowland. Many excellent beaches nearby, with good walking on the South Devon Coastal Path, and the open spaces of Dartmoor only half an hour away. Plymouth is within easy reach, offering many historic attractions and the National Aquarium. Several rocky and sandy coves nearby, ideal for picnics and bathing. Horse riding locally. Excellent bistro, restaurant, shops and pubs on the water’s edge, 800 yards.
