Description of Old Vicarage Cottage

This semi-detached holiday cottage was originally the wing of an 18th-century vicarage and is in the peaceful and attractive village of Farndon, 2 miles from Newark which is known for its market, castle and its history. It is also renowned for pine and antique shops, and regularly holds antique fairs on the showground. The famous River Trent nearby is an excellent coarse fishing water. Newark is close to The Dukeries, with numerous National Trust homes close by. Lincoln is 18 miles, Nottingham is 16 miles and Sherwood Forest is a short drive. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurants 400 yards.

Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. First floor: 1 double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Second floor: 1 twin bedroom.
