Enjoying stunning views from its huge roof terrace and private swimming pool, this pleasant property, within the owner’s grounds yet completely private, is peacefully located on the outskirts of a pretty village, 5km from the medieval city of Carcassonne. There is a French boules green in the orchard. The property provides an excellent base to discover the Cathar Castles, to cycle or hike, it opens many day excursion possibilities including ’La Ville Rose’ of Toulouse, Castelnaudary, Quillan one of the best points of departure for forays into the forests of the Pyrénean foothills, Mazamet, Castres, the delightful town of Narbonne, you can visit the seaside resorts along the endless miles of golden sandy beaches, or just enjoy a get away from it all holiday break. Lake ’de la Cavayere’, in a lovely setting, at 2km has beaches, games areas and is a lovely spot to picnic. The owner can provide a pick-up service from Carcassonne station (at cost), or arrange car hire.
