A short drive away is the lake of Hostens with a beach that is ideal for children. There are many interesting châteaux nearby including Yquem, Roquetaillade and Cadillac on the River Garonne. Golfers can enjoy a round at Langon (20 minutes’ drive) and for a day out, beautiful Bordeaux has many trendy shops, museums, golf course and cafés.
