Originally the Smithy, this picturesque, 17th-century, whitewashed, Westmorland cottage adjoining the owner’s home, is located in a peaceful setting, and enjoys lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Only 11/2 miles from Bowness and Lake Windermere, it is ideally situated for walking or touring. Totally renovated it provides quality holiday accommodation retaining the original beams (watch your head), stone stairs and quaint character. Windermere golf course 1/2 mile. Windermere 2 miles, Kendal 8 miles. Shops and pub 1 mile.
