There is storage for small boats and canoes and public launching into the lake is just 600 yards away. The patio is surrounded by rocky, woodland outcrops designated a SSSI. Glenridding lies at the foot of Kirkstone Pass at the southern end of Ullswater, one of the most beautiful areas in the Lake District. Nearby Aira Force has a waterfall (60ft) especially spectacular after heavy rain. Shop and pubs 550 yards.
