Peacefully located, with their own separate galleried entrance, these two delightful holiday cottages have been tastefully converted from a former barn. Backing onto the owner’s working farm the holiday homes are a lovely mix of original character combined with modern living facilities. The natural beauty of the Lake District lies on the doorstep, with the popular Lakeland market town of Keswick 25 minutes away and Cockermouth, 20 minutes. Penrith and the beautiful Eden Valley are a few minutes further, while Silloth and the Solway Coast, 10 miles, is well known for its golf courses. Carlisle is within a 20 minute drive, with historic Hadrian’s Wall and Scotland a little further. There are local cycle routes and footpaths, interesting castles and historic sites to explore, plus numerous pretty villages and market towns. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
