Lovely views

Set in the heart of the Lake District National Park, these superb, detached, single-storey holiday lodges have marvellous views of all the surrounding high mountains from their sunny balconies. They are yards from the bustling village with its shops, cafes and pubs. This is a superb base to make the most of this marvellous place, as a pleasant walk will bring you to the renowned Tarn Hows and the magnificent lakeland scenery.

You are 1 mile from the pretty Esthwaite Water and the world famous Beatrix Potter’s house with Windermere and Bowness villages a short trip across the lake on the Windermere ferry. Fabulous walking - the Old Man of Coniston and the Langdales beckon. Hawkshead is a pretty medieval market town which is steeped in history with 15th century buildings, galleries and museums to visit.

Local attractions include the ruins of Hawkshead Hall to the 15th century St. Michaels parish church and court house, as well as the historic palace, heritage centre, gardens, forest trails, boat trips and of course the award winning Beatrix Potter Gallery and attraction. The cobbled streets, whitewashed cottages and stunning scenery gives this place a magical feel. For keen shoppers there is a wide variety of shops to stroll around or why not visit Grizedale Forest to see some of the most amazing scenery in the Lakes.

Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
