It enjoys superb views across The Minch to the Western Isles and 180-degree views from the living/dining room. Uig and the ferry terminal, where day trips to the islands are possible, are just 5 miles. Canoeing and windsurfing can be arranged nearby. With its steep cliffs and fascinating rock formations the area is popular with hill walkers.
Locally the Flora Macdonald’s monument and museum of island life and Duntulm Castle ruins are worth exploring. The Isle of Skye is an isle of romance with wild landscapes of jagged mountains and lochs.
