The lodge has some charming features including a very good sized lounge with a large balcony and great views over the valley.
The location of the property makes it an ideal destination from which to enjoy all the attractions North Devon has to offer. The North Devon coastline has a little something for everyone, from quaint old fishing villages at Bucks Mill and Clovelly to large sandy beaches at Saunton and Westward Ho!. The quay at Hartland and lighthouse offer some stunning scenery whatever the weather.
Other local attractions include the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal factory, both near Great Torrington. There are three golf courses close by and fishing on the Taw River can be arranged locally. Slightly further afield both Dartmoor and Exmoor are easily accessible to enjoy a day’s exploring.
