Charming Cornish cottage
This charming Cornish holiday cottage is in the heart of this pretty hamlet, a short drive from the town of Camelford with its shops, pubs and restaurants. It has a cosy living room with an open fire, an en-suite master bedroom and a kitchen/dining room with slate floors and an aga. The garden is to the front of the property and has a sitting-out area which is ideal for morning coffee or al fresco dining. The holiday cottage is close to the harbour village of Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ‘Doc Martin’, with its selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also within easy reach are the coastal villages of Boscastle and Tintagel, which is the mythical home of King Arthur. Just down the coast is Padstow with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Here you can take a ferry across to Rock to enjoy some of the watersports on offer. You can also cycle or walk along the Camel Trail which follows the Camel Estuary along to the market town of Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin.
