Description of Meadow View

Set down one of medieval Hawkshead’s cobbled streets, this comfortable holiday cottage dates back 300 years. Just off the village’s traffic-free centre, there are numerous shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. At the head of Esthwaite Water, Meadow View is an ideal base from which to tour the lakes. Why not start with a trip 2635ft up The Old Man of Coniston. Guests will find there is something here to suit most interests. Enjoy a visit to the Ruskin Museum, the Beatrix Potter Gallery and Galava Roman Fort. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy walking, climbing, biking and sailing are all catered for.

Ground floor: 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet. First floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Second floor: 1 double bedroom. Separate toilet.
