Description of Birch Cottage

Birch Cottage is a delightful, terraced, traditional 18th-century stone cottage and is situated in the little hamlet of Edinboro, on the edge of Ambleside. You can choose to just relax or enjoy spectacular hikes right from the door – take an easy walk by the lakes to Rydal or Grasmere or go over Wansfell to Troutbeck, climb Red Screes, Loughrigg or the Fairfield Horseshoe. Walk down to Ambleside’s many top class restaurants, cafés, a cinema and museums. Windermere, Bowness, Coniston and Hawkeshead are all with easy driving distance. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub 250 yards.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen with tiled floor. Steep stairs to first floor: 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Steep stairs to second floor: 1 double bedroom with beams.
