Description of The Turrets
This Grade II listed, 17th-century holiday cottage was formerly the lock-up for the village of Coleford. At the end of a row, the turret gives the interior curved walls and alcoves, adding to its character and original features. On the eastern edge of the Mendip Hills, close to Frome, Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Shop 1 mile, pub 150 yards.
