Description of The Lodge
The Lodge, a comfortable coach house conversion, is set down a quiet country lane, in the small hamlet of Farmington. Standing alone within the grounds of the owners’ home, it provides secluded and cosy accommodation perfect for exploring the beauty of the Cotswolds. Cirencester, renowned for its Roman heritage, and the Regency spa town of Cheltenham are easily accessible. Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are also in easy reach. Within a half-hour drive are Sudeley and Warwick Castles, Blenheim Palace and numerous gardens. A perfect base for walking and cycling, several footpaths and routes for cyclists lead from the lane (cycle hire available). Bourton-on-the-Water 4 miles. Stow-on-the-Wold 8 miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1½ miles.
