This Grade ll listed detached barn conversion set in beautiful countryside is less than 3 miles from some of the county’s best beaches. It has been converted to a very good standard and sits in a private, landscaped garden and large courtyard accessed under an archway. Tourist attractions include Crealy Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Dairyland, Newquay Zoo, Trerice House and Gardens (NT), 8 beautiful beaches of Newquay and the dunes at Holywell Bay and Perranporth. The Gannel Estuary (AONB) is 3 miles, and a firm favourite with kayakers, birdwatchers and windsurfers and a perfect place for a walk and a picnic. Padstow, with its quaint working harbour and narrow cobbled streets leading to the harbour, is awash with craft and gift shops, galleries and cafes, and Rick Stein’s restaurants and speciality stores. The Camel Trail starts here and bike hire is available. The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Ives, Port Isaac (home to TV’s ’Doc Martin’), Newquay and the county capital, Truro, are all easily reached.
