Minutes from the golden sands of Perranporth, this well presented, detached holiday home has everything needed for a memorable stay on the dramatic North Cornwall Coast. The cliffs, beaches, countryside and quaint villages surrounding the house all provide the ingredients for the all important family holiday in Cornwall. The local surf school offers all guest 10% discount. Perranporth is very popular with families due to its dog-friendly sandy beach complete with surf hire, rock pools and local favourite beach bar that serves home cooked food and local ales and hosts live music right on the beach. A golf course backs on to the town, as does a wide expanse of sand dunes complete with ancient buried church, an ideal walking spot. Numerous tourist attractions can be found nearby from Holywell Bay Fun Park, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, National Trust homes and gardens, Creally Adventure Park, Dairyland Theme Park and Newquay Zoo. Sea fishing and boat trips can be arranged from Newquay and a short drive up the coast road will bring you to Watergate Bay, the home of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant (booking essential). Beaches, surfing, cycling, walking, dramatic cliffs, horse riding, woodland walks and a local cider farm all provide the perfect surroundings for the perfect family holiday. Padstow, the home of Rick Stein’s food empire is a short drive along the coast. His fish and chip shop on the quay is a must. Meander around the lanes full of galleries, craft and gift shops and local pubs and find your way back to the habour for a clotted ice cream and tea while watching the fishing boats in the harbour. Truro, the county capital, with its local shops, cathedral, cinema, theatre and abundance of fine restauants is a short drive. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
