Rurally situated in a tiny hamlet, but within easy reach of Autun, and commanding far-reaching views, this independent wing of the owners’ 18th-century château within 11 hectares of private parkland has an independent access and provides a convenient holiday home with antique furniture. An excellent touring location, the château is equidistant from the Côte-de-Beaune vineyards and the Parc National du Morvan, an area of outstanding beauty, with a wealth of footpaths, cycle trails and watersports on its lakes. Visit Autun with its Roman and medieval roots, and Beaune with its rampart-enclosed ’vieille ville’. A perfect place to relax, French windows open directly onto a well-tended garden ideal for al-fresco dining. A short stroll takes you to the enclosed swimming pool with spacious sunbathing terraces and unrivalled views. A little further are the tennis courts and the small, private unfenced fishing lake.
