Situated amidst the beautiful mountains of Alsace, this typical village house has a private, fenced terrace to the rear with lovely views over the wooded hillsides. It provides simple, modern accommodation, with extensive grounds with a little river, shared with the English-speaking owner. The nearby forests of the Vosges Mountains provide excellent walking, with a lake and medieval castle to explore. All the vineyards are within easy reach, as well as Colmar, with its attractive Petite Venise area and choice of restaurants. To the north lies Strasbourg, and the pretty, half-timbered villages such as Ribeauvillé along the famous Wine Route.
