Set in a peaceful hamlet in western Burgundy, near the Nivernais canal and the Park of Morvan, this lovely stone-built house has been renovated by the English owners. Outside there is a large lawned garden with cherry tree. To the rear there is a second garden with views over the rolling countryside and fields with typical ‘Charolais’ cows. The area offers a large choice of castles to visit and the beautiful abbey in Vézelay on its promontory is within easy reach. To the north are the vineyards of the Auxerre region. To the south is the unspoilt park of Morvan, ideal to ramble or cycle, or have a refreshing swim in the lakes of Vaux or Baye.
