Torfrey is an original, Grade II listed, detached holiday cottage, superbly situated in the heart of Brixham just a few minutes’ walk from the breakwater beach and marina. Located in an elevated position, the bedrooms have sea views and from the garden high up behind the cottage, all of the town and across the bay can be seen. Brixham is a hilly town built around the central little fishing harbour which is still busy with trawlers, and some of the best fish is brought in by the boats that fish the seas surrounding this region of coastlines. The town centre has many tourist shops, restaurants, cafes, bistros and good fish and chip shops. For a good day out there is Greenway Mansion which is the home of Agatha Christie, or take a trip on the Paighton and Dartmouth Steam Railway. The bustling region of Torbay with its abundance of shops, bistros, nightlife and tourist attractions, Goodrington with its water park, Torquay, Paignton with its zoo, or the quieter villages and towns of the South Hams are all within easy reach. Shops and pub ¼ mile.
