This delightful detached holiday cottage, set in its own grounds down a country lane, is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the picturesque village of Brighstone which has thatched roof shops, as well as a small museum, church, grocery store and pub/restaurant. It enjoys its own garden and a games table in the garage which includes a compendium with nine different games. Dove Cottage has been refurbished inside and has a light modern comfortable style. This popular island is renowned for its warm climate, and the nearest beaches and coves are about a mile away. There are plenty of scenic coastal and country walking and cycling routes including ’The Tennyson Trail’. Discover towering cliffs, farmland, woodland and river valleys all linked by a 500-mile network of footpaths, many of which meander along the spectacular coastline. Within easy reach of Freshwater Bay, Shanklin Chine, Godshill, St Catherine’s Lighthouse, The Needles rock formations, Alum Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, Calbourne Mill and Blackgang Chine. Sailing at Yarmouth or Cowes, various watersports, golf, fishing and riding can also be enjoyed. Many NT homes and gardens, wild life centres, vineyards, farms with local produce and adventure parks can be easily reached. Shop and pub 600 yards.
