Things to do in the Cairngorms

Hop aboard the Funicular Railway to reach the summit of Carin Gorm with ease and, for a fast winter descent, hire your skiing and snowboarding gear from Aviemore – a mecca for all winter sports enthusiasts. The Strathspey Steam Railway and Highland Wildlife Park will go down a treat with the kids, while car free adults might fancy a visit to the Dalwhinnie Distillery in nearby Newtonmore.
