Holiday Cottages in Scarborough

Scarborough

Yorkshire’s East Coast is a wonderful, unspoilt location for your cottage holiday.  Well before its resort status the inhabitants of Scarborough were ancient Bronze Age settlers, Roman invaders, Vikings and early Christians.  Mainly a fishing and ship building community, springs discovered in the 17th century established a spa and an 18th century genteel bathing resort; with the coming of the railways in 1845 Scarborough’s reputation really took off.

Today, you can enjoy Scarborough’s pier and bustling seafront with its traditional arcade games, broad golden beaches and beautiful gardens.  Take a ride on the oldest cliff railway in Britain; enjoy sea life, wildlife and lots of family fun, plus the North York Moors National Park on your doorstep.
