Things to do in Lancashire

If you like to be beside the seaside choose from wild and wonderful Morecambe Bay (birthplace of much loved comedian Eric), with guided walks* and miles and miles of sand or, there’s few places offering you more traditional fun and entertainment than Blackpool.  All the family with love the wealth of attractions and activities in this vibrant top seaside resort, including the world famous Pleasure Beach with over 125 rides, plus Blackpool Tower and Circus, and Sea Life Centre.

Known as the classic English seaside resort Southport has the highest concentration of golf courses in the country including the championship course at Royal Birkdale.  Heritage hunters head for county town Lancaster with its great castle and, home to bags of industrial heritage, visit Queen Street Textile Mill in Burnley.  Get back to nature in the ancient Forest of Bowland for wildlife and adventure, not forgetting the opportunity to discover the infamous witches of Pendle Hill!
