Things to do in Borrowdale

Unspoilt and accessible, the National Trust owns much of the land around Borrowdale including the Castlerigg Stone Circle.  The fells are obviously perfect for walking and offer fantastic cycling routes.  Check out the wealth of outdoor activities to be found at the Derwent Water Marina and year round entertainment at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.  For a fascinating family day out go deep underground at the Honister Slate Mine or be amazed by the optical illusions at the Puzzling Place!
