Things to do in Lyme Regis

Visit the amazing, fully restored 14^th century Water Mill and award-winning Philpott Museum where you’ll find a surprise around every corner.   If, after basking on the beautiful beaches, you need some exercise, have a go at the many activities available down at the seafront including wind surfing, water skiing and sailing.  Hop aboard a boat trip to watch dolphins or try your hand at sea fishing and take the family on a Fossil walk along the fascinating Jurassic coastline.

The Marine theatre offers an exciting programme of live events and there are a variety of festivals from jazz to fossils organised throughout the year.  For the young ones head for the Marine Aquarium or, a few miles down the road, the wonderful children’s farm at Abbotsbury including Swannery and Subtropical Gardens.
