A famous seaport, Brixham has played host to many well known historical figures including Admiral Lord Nelson and William of Orange, who landed here in 1688. The nature reserve at Berry Head just outside Brixham is home to rare plants and wildlife, and the spectacular setting of Dartmouth Castle makes for a great day out. Little ones will love Babbacombe Model Village, hop aboard the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway and go wet and wild at theme park Quaywest.
