Things to do in Newquay

If playing in the water is your thing then you’ve hit the jackpot!  For fishing, angling and pleasure boat trips head for Newquay harbour where you’ll find plenty of choice on the quayside.  If it’s the surf you’re after then there are bags of beaches to choose from with surf schools for the novice.  For family friendly fun, the award wining Newquay Zoo is definitely worth a visit as is the Blue reef aquarium over looking one of Newquay’s most popular beaches.

Away from the town, enjoy the tranquillity of the Elizabethan Trerice Manor or the famous bio-domes of the Eden project in St Austell.  The Lappa Valley Steam railway will also provide a fabulous day out and, for those who enjoy great scenery and great pubs, check out the Rail Ale Trail from Newquay to Par.
